NTSB Issues 2019-20 Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements

On February 4, 2019, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) issued its “Most Wanted List of Transportation Safety Improvements.” The list can be viewed here: https://www.ntsb.gov/news/press-releases/Pages/mr20190204.aspx
This list contains recommendations for highway travel such as:
-Eliminate Distractions
-End Alcohol and Other Drug Impairment
-Implement a Comprehensive Strategy to Reduce Speeding-Related Crashes
-Increase Implementation of Collision Avoidance Systems in All New Highway Vehicles
-Reduce Fatigue Related Accidents
-Require Medical Fitness-
-Strengthen Occupant Protection – Screen and Treat for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

These are specific recommendations that include recommendations to state governments to implement stricter driving laws, enact distracted driving laws, lower the legal limits for alcohol in the bloodstream while driving, and other specific recommendations.
