Business Interruption Insurance for COVID-19?

Coronavirus and COVID-19 have caused widespread illness and death throughout the world.  They have also caused the closure, disruption, and interference of businesses throughout Arizona and the United States.

Some businesses have Business Interruption insurance or have this coverage as a part of their commercial insurance policy and want to know whether closures and losses due to this pandemic will be covered.

Depending on the specifics of your insurance policy, the type of business that you have, the nature of the closure, losses, etc., if you are a business owner, your business losses relating to the pandemic may be covered by your business insurance.  This is a somewhat complicated insurance coverage question and the way that the claim is tendered to the insurance carrier may affect whether coverage is afforded or not.  (See https://riskandinsurance.com/business-interruption-coronavirus/ for more information.)

While I devote most of my practice to helping those that have been injured by the negligence of others, I have handled many complex insurance coverage issues in my years of practice and I am pleased to assist my clients with questions about recent business losses.

If you or a loved one were injured in a car accident or have questions about business interruption losses, please call.  I offer free consultation and work on a contingency fee if I take your case.  This means you pay nothing until I recover money for you!
